Valsoft Corporation Inc. (“Valsoft”), a Canadian-based company specializing in the acquisition and development of vertical market software businesses, has announced its acquisition of Inatech, a rapidly expanding Energy trading and risk management solutions company, previously owned by Glencore.

The partnership will provide Inatech’s customers with an array of advanced risk analysis tools including what-if scenarios, portfolio & margin optimization, hedge effectiveness and value at risk (VaR) models.

Inatech grew at around 25% in 2021 yet its CEO, Jean Hervé Jenn, described the year as ‘disappointing” by comparison to 2020 when I spoke with him recently.
